A native New Yorker, Nina graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, and a double minor in International Relations and Law and Society. She abandoned her plans for law school, and instead went to circus school at the New England Center for the Arts (NECCA), where she specialized in Aerial Rope.
Nina has since performed with Hijinx Music Festival, New York Fashion Week, ABCirque, and Cirque Us. She also loves teaching circus arts, and some of her credits include: Circus Culture (Ithaca, NY), Circus Smirkus (Greensboro, VT), Aerial Arts NYC (New York, NY), The Muse Brooklyn (Brooklyn, NY), The Muse Gowanus (Brooklyn, NY), Fifth Wall Studio (Brooklyn, NY), New England Center for Circus Arts (Brattleboro, VT), and The Sellam Circus School (Biddeford, ME). Nina has also taught out of circus studios in Washington, Oklahoma, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
Nina attended Smirkus Camp for 6 years, and then worked at Camp as a Counselor, Aerial Coach, Lead Aerial Coach, and Aerial Acts Director. Her best friends to this day are Cleo the Circus Narwal, Sumatra the Long Lost Smirkus Camp Llama, and Georgie, her duo-trap partner she met while working at Smirkus.
