On to Revere!
Circus Smirkus pulled up stakes on the beautiful Cape after last night’s final performance in Sandwich, and lands at Beachmont School in Revere, MA today. This historic town – just 5 miles from downtown Boston! – is home to the famed Revere Beach (oldest public beach in the US!) and home, for a few days each summer, to Circus Smirkus!
Our shows in Revere are presented by the Revere Recreation Department, which uses money raised from ticket sales for an incredible array of programs. In the summer, the Rec Department offers free entertainment – movies, concerts and the like – six days a week, along with a mind-boggling selection of sports and arts camps! Starting in the fall, there are morning programs for pre-school kids and after-school programs, arts & crafts classes, sports and more for school-age children.
Once again, our audiences get to support TWO great, family-friendly organizations – Circus Smirkus AND the Revere Rec Department – while having the kind of fun only a day at Smirkus can bring!
