Alexa Wang, Big Top Tour trouper 2017-2020 Alexa Wang is from Boston, MA, and has been a Big Top Tour trouper since 2017 as a clown, juggler, aerialist, and spreadsheet-maker. Quarantine activities include baking, room cleaning, and watching YouTube videos about roller coasters. Having just graduated high school, she will be attending Pace University in the fall to study Musical Theatre.
Benjamin Kaufman
Benjamin Kaufman, Big Top Tour trouper 2015-2017 Ben took his first circus class in 2007 and the rest has been history. He got his training at the New England Center for Circus Arts and Smirkus Camp. Since then he has performed with Circus Smirkus, Wunderle’s Big Top Adventures, Nimble Arts, Circus Culture, Cirque Us, and Cirque Imagination. And in 2019, Ben won Windham County’s Got Talent. Liam Gundlach
Liam Gundlach, Big Top Tour trouper 2012-2014 Liam’s main focus right now is in living a compassionate and creative lifestyle. Having recently returned to his home in Vermont, Liam is very excited to share his work with other people. Well, one could call it work. It’s more like play. An exploration into the unknown. A leap of faith. In other words, this is going to be a little experimental… and a lot of fun. As Rumi puts it: Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
Patrick Chikoloma
Patrick Chikoloma Patrick Chikoloma started performing acrobatics at 5 years old with Gift Chansa, who is now a co-founder of Circus Zambia. In 2016, Patrick traveled to the USA with Circus Zambia, and were invited to perform at Circus Smirkus Camp. It was also the first time he saw the Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour. Patrick auditioned and was accepted to the 2017 Big Top Tour and says, “It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had and I will never forget it.” He returned to Zambia and went back to complete his final year of school. Lindsay Culbert-Olds
Lindsay Culbert-Olds, Big Top Tour trouper 2006-2009 2020 Smirkus Camp Coach Lindsay Culbert-Olds discovered the circus at Circus Smirkus Summer Camp and joined the Big Top Tour for the 2006-2009 summer tours. She trained at New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro, VT, before she moved to Montreal and was accepted into the National Circus School. Since graduating in 2014, Lindsay has performed all over the world for shows including Midnight Circus (Chicago), Circus Monti (Switzerland), Cirque Bouffon (Germany), Strut & Fret (Australia), and Cirque du Soleil (Shanghai).
